Invite only
People join with an invite from your admins. There is no public sign up and no search to stumble in from.
Vouching
Members can suggest someone they know. Your admins decide whether to send them an invite.
Members only, inside
Posts, chats, events and profiles are only ever seen by the people in your community.

Every community lives at its own address, with its own name, logo and colour. Separate from every other group.

Lock a heated thread to stop new replies, without deleting what's already there.
Gentle checks run in the background, so small problems get caught before they become big ones.
Support when it matters
If a post or message suggests someone might be struggling, they're offered support options straight away, and your admins are told so they can check in.
No oversharing by accident
Before someone shares a phone number, email address or social link, they're asked to confirm they meant to.
Unwanted requests, flagged
Messages asking for explicit photos or paid sexual services are flagged to your admins automatically.
A swear filter, if you want one
Switch it on and bad language is masked as it's posted. Admins can still see the original if it's ever reported.
Our own team sees reports from every community too. If your admins are away, there's always someone else who can step in, and anyone who breaks the rules badly enough can be removed from the whole platform.
nicebunch is a happy place. Hate, racism, sexism, homophobia, bullying and anything illegal aren't welcome in any community, and breaking these rules can mean being removed from one community or from all of them.
