Terms

Last updated: 28 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and nicebunch ("we", "us") for using nicebunch. By creating an account, you agree to them. We've kept them as plain as we can.

The short version

  • nicebunch is a happy place. Be kind and show respect.
  • Nothing illegal, and no hate, racism, sexism, homophobia or bullying.
  • Break the rules and you can be removed from a community, or from nicebunch altogether.
  • You own what you post.
  • It's free during early access. After that, it's £5 a month per community, and nothing is charged until a card is added.

Who can use nicebunch

You must be 18 or over to have an account. Your account is just for you, so please don't share it, and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Communities and the people who run them

Anyone can start a community. The person who starts it (the owner) is responsible for it, including who they invite and how it's run. Owners can make other members admins to help.

Admins can remove content and suspend members from their community. We expect them to do this fairly and in line with these terms.

House rules

Everyone using nicebunch, whether running a community or taking part in one, agrees to:

  • be kind and show respect to others
  • not post or share anything illegal
  • not post hate speech, or anything racist, sexist or homophobic
  • not bully, harass or threaten anyone
  • not share someone else's personal information without their permission
  • not send spam, scams or unwanted advertising
  • not pretend to be someone else

If the rules are broken

Members. A community's admins can suspend someone from their community. In serious cases, we can remove someone from every community on nicebunch.

Communities. If a community is used for anything illegal, or for hate, racism, sexism, homophobia or bullying, we may close it and end the owner's account straight away, without a refund.

We may also remove any content that breaks these terms. Some safety checks run automatically. You can read about them on our safety page and in our privacy policy.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting it, you give us permission to store it and show it to the people in your community, so that nicebunch can work. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we need to keep safety records (see our privacy policy).

You're responsible for what you post, and you must have the right to share it.

Pricing and payment

  • Early access. nicebunch is free while it's in early access. We'll let you know well before early access ends.
  • Free trial. When early access ends, each community gets a 30 day free trial.
  • After the trial. It's £5 a month per community, paid by the community's owner. Members never pay to join.
  • No surprise charges. Nothing is charged until the owner adds a card.
  • If no card is added. The community pauses. Everyone can still see what's there, but nothing new can be added until a card is in place. Nothing is deleted straight away.
  • Fair use. Each community can have up to 150 members and 5 GB of photos and files. If you need more, get in touch.

Details of billing, cancelling and refunds will be added to these terms before paid plans begin.

Early access

During early access, nicebunch is still growing. Features may change, be added or be removed, and things may occasionally go wrong. We'll do our best to keep everything running smoothly and your content safe.

Not an emergency service

nicebunch includes some wellbeing features, but it is not a crisis or emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999.

Our responsibility to you

We provide nicebunch as it is and as available. We'll take reasonable care running it, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

We're not responsible for what members post, or for losses that weren't a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, or affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Your profile and content are deleted with it, as explained in our privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

If we make significant changes, we'll let you know before they take effect. If you keep using nicebunch after that, you're agreeing to the new terms.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
